Young driver insurance
Young drivers are the highest risk insurance group out there, everything statistically points to this group as the most likely to cause or be involved in an accident. It is a mixture of inexperience, youth and general recklessness that has, over the years, proven this beyond a shadow of a doubt.
While there are careful young drivers and in this day and age it would not be right to tar them all with the same sweeping brush the stats cannot lie and the insurance companies who need to provide the cover must profile the prospect to who they are providing a quote. Like it or not insurance as a young driver will not be cheap.
The second most expensive group to insure are likely new drivers, a new driver is not necessarily always going to be a young driver as people do learn later on in life, however, new drivers and young drivers do share many traits.
While we have established that a new driver might not be a young driver it is fair to say that a young driver will always be a new driver and that overlap is one that reinforces the high risk and high cost of insurance.

No doubt if you are reading this you have already read countless other articles and texts on how you might save money on insurance but, as you are still searching and reading, it would seem that you probably have not found the magic bullet just yet.
The cost of insurance can be so crippling to young drivers that you might even be considering unethical or even totally illegal tricks or tactics to attempt to bring down the price of you insurance. Some people consider everything from making up a driving history to not giving the full details of the car they plan to drive. Obviously these steps will bring down the cost of your insurance premium but in reality they actually make things more expensive. As a dishonest insurance policy is totally invalid this means that you are actually giving money away. The policy will be void so what ever you will be paying is too much.
This blog will help you save money on insurance, have a read around and you will see how to make savings and all the tips that your insurance company would rather you didn’t know! We will of course also cover the less than legal options as a way of making you aware of what other people might be doing that could actually be directly increasing the cost of your insurance!
